I realised on an other chart that the close of the last hour of a trading session is different than the day closing. Is a closing of the end of the week maybe different than on friday?
iam realy confused
Zitat von Schmied Does Martin use the wrong numbers?
In the private blog he is talking:
"In gold, Friday's closing was admirable at 1289.7, but not good enough." (may 6th)

This can be a problem if one is relying on chart data. It looks like one has to use the charts that Martin is providing on his Socrates system, but I would prefer to use other charts (e.g. investing.com) as well. I guess one has to double-check on the CME quotes settlements in the case it's really narrow on the reversal numbers. But then that data is only available 5 days back. If anyone has an idea on that, I would be grateful too.
last week was another week with a Gold closing that doesn't seems to be in sync with CME. Meanwhile I've noticed that CME closings on Fridays at 13:00 (30 min Chart) corresponds to the closing numbers that SOC standard provides. This was a consistent occurrence in the last couple of month. Last week was an exception. CME showed 1294 on the chart at 13:29 (or 13:00 on the 30 min. time level), but SOC was reporting 1290.70 as the closing number for last week.
