This forum has RSS feeds with which you can receive notifications on new thread posts.
You can subscribe to the activity Feed with this URL feed/activities.rss
With RSS you wouldn't miss new topics in the forum.

Besides the RSS-feed, there is another easy way of checking whether new posts have arrived on specific subforums. The RSS feed only checks on new forum threads, whereas the below method also checks for every new post in every thread, no matter if the forum thread is old or new.
You may also subscribe to e-mail notifications of individual threads where you haven't previously posted something.

New subforum posts

e-mails subscription to all messages of a subforum
If you'd like to subscribe to several or all subforums, you have to subscribe to each subforum individually (e.g. one subscription for the General Forum, one subscription for Gold, etc.)
